A Healing Community is therapy.
It can be easier to see your friends’ strengths but deny your own. Sometimes, you wonder, “How can they not see how great they are?” So, the question really becomes, “How come you don’t see how fantastic you are?”
Our tangled inner belief system makes us feel alone, broken, and wrong in our not-enoughness. We hide those beliefs so no one sees them – fearing they won’t love us and will leave.
Beliefs created by traumatic experiences – events that say you don’t belong, you’re different, unwanted.
That’s painful AF. We’re hardwired to belong, but not at the cost of denying ourselves.
Start learning from others…
…as you realize your brilliance. You are unique and essential. The mirror of another’s experience can give you the confidence to trust that fact.
When you feel like you belong, you also realize how not-so-different you are.
Being your own person and deeply connected to the larger whole provides the support you need to be yourself – to heal yourself.
You learn that belonging doesn’t mean you need to shrink, dim, or be someone you are not.
You can feel alone even when surrounded by tons of people.
Being vulnerable around people is not always easy – especially when feeling misunderstood or invalidated.
Group therapy is a curated space to feel safe and deeply supported to do the needed healing work to find your authentic voice. In group, you will never hear, “You’re too sensitive,” “Just get over it,” or “Who cares; that was so long ago.”
You’re guided through the work with other participants who “get it” and are here to heal, too. It’s a practice space to feel it all – empty, whole, raw, alive, fragmented, connected – in a safe container that can hold you.
The work doesn’t begin and end with others; it’s about you and your healing in an incredibly supportive environment where all of you is welcome.
Working in a group is Heart Opening.
Connection with others truly begins with you. Group therapy helps you be who you are while feeling entirely accepted among your peers.
You are not alone, and you no longer need to feel isolated. You get to celebrate, be who you are, and live out loud – fully turned ON.
Dimming your light is not what we do in group therapy.
We talk, share, give and receive support, and take action steps to become the complete, whole, connected, lit-up person you are meant to be.
Start filling your cup – with Help.
External validation is fantastic! But if you can’t embody the awesomeness of that messaging, it’s like you have a hole in the bottom of your cup.
The compliments and your accomplishments are leaking out the bottom, and you need more input to keep that cup full.
It’s a slippery slope of catchup and never quite feeling fulfilled as who you are. It feels unsafe to sloooooow down because your cup will lack substance.
If that happens you’ll feel empty, depleted, defeated – again.
Find balance in receiving praise and giving it to yourself.
All the wisdom you need to heal resides inside of you, and it often takes the encouragement of others to show you that.
Their supportive words are scaffolding as you learn to believe in yourself fully. The hole at the bottom becomes smaller, and the cup fills up!
Your increasing self-worth and ability to show up to life overflows your cup. You get to feel well taken care of by others and yourself.
Feel into that potential now: You are Well Taken Care Of.
Your Inner Strength is your Superpower.
Guidance within this healing community helps you find that power to shine brightly. Group therapy is that supportive space to explore who you are and want to be and connect fully with yourself and others.
It extends far beyond the therapy space because you have practiced and learned skills that show you how to embody your brightest essence. You get to be YOU in the World.
It all starts with a readiness to do the work and a willingness to give yourself credit for attending group each week.
